The Computer 400
Since my mom is a pro at sewing, I thought I would give it a go on her industrial machine.
What a mistake. The foot pedal is incredibly sensitive, and I would go 0 to 60 in one second. I was able to sew things on it, but it certainly was a nerve racking experience.
As I started to get more into it, I thought it might be best to invest in my own machine. A little search on Ebay, and voila! I found the computer 400.
And I love it. It makes this wonderful noise as it plucks down each stitch and is a thing of beauty.
Don't get me wrong, we've had our disagreements and I've broken about two face plates, a pressure foot and a billion needles on it, but we're like peas and carrots 99% of the time.
I loved the husqvarna so much, I got a Designer I to go along with it, but have only been able to use it for embroidery so far.
If you're looking for a brand of sewing machine, I definitely recommend Husqvarna.
